Ismet Erarslan, chief executive officer of Vento Furniture, has been conferred with the traditional title of Jakadan Masana’atun Kasar Jiwa (Ambassador of Industries of Jiwa Chiefdom) by the Jiwa Emirate Council in the Federal Capital Territory.
The honour, announced on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, recognises Erarslan’s contributions to industrial development and community initiatives in the emirate and across the FCT.
The Sarkin Jiwa, HRH Dr. Idris Musa (MFR), lauded Erarslan for his leadership, integrity, and dedication to improving the welfare of the people of Jiwa Emirate.

“This recognition reflects your unwavering commitment to advancing industry and supporting the growth of our community,” the monarch said during the investiture ceremony.
Erarslan, who has led Vento Furniture to become a key player in Nigeria’s manufacturing sector, expressed gratitude for the honour and pledged to continue supporting initiatives that foster economic growth and social development in the FCT.
