Whitecloud TVET Academy continues to uphold its commitment to quality technical training as officials from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment visited the academy on Tuesday to conduct a pre–trade test evaluation for the Welding and Fabrication students.
The assessment team was led by Engr. Ojelade, the Deputy Director, Skills Development and Certification Department, alongside other senior officers from the Ministry. Their visit underscores the importance the Ministry places on ensuring that trainees receive proper preparation ahead of the national Trade Test certification.
During the session, the Ministry officials engaged the welding trainees with a series of theoretical and knowledge-based questions to assess their understanding of core welding principles and readiness for the upcoming Trade Test Assessment.
They informed the students that the full assessment will take place soon, emphasizing that the Trade Test is a key requirement that qualifies them as recognized welders in Nigeria.
After the evaluation, Engr. Ojelade addressed the students, highlighting the importance of national certification in securing employment, advancing technical careers, and competing confidently in the industry. He encouraged the trainees to stay committed to their learning and to take the certification process seriously.
