Nigerian Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, paid a courtesy visit to President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone on Tuesday in Freetown ahead of his rescheduled beach concert linked to the ongoing AFCON 2025 festivities.
The visit forms part of Davido’s 5ive Alive World Tour. During the meeting, the singer described Sierra Leone as his “second home” and promised fans a future stadium concert in the country. He also recalled his 2017 performance in Sierra Leone, which drew over 50,000 fans.

President Bio welcomed Davido warmly, acknowledging the excitement surrounding the upcoming concert and the attention the visit has generated.
Photos from the meeting have since sparked online reactions, with fans noting Davido’s growing international profile following similar engagements this year with Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu and France’s President Emmanuel Macron.
