West Ham striker Callum Wilson is set to leave the club after entering talks over a mutual termination of his contract, sources have confirmed.
Wilson, 33, joined the Hammers on a free transfer last summer and scored four goals in 18 appearances. However, his first-team opportunities are expected to diminish following the arrivals of forwards Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos this month.
The English striker is reportedly keen to play regular football and is unwilling to accept a peripheral role, prompting his decision to seek an early exit.

West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed the discussions on Monday, stating: “ Me and Callum had a lot of conversations… Two strikers have joined. Your position has changed, but you are still a player for the club, and we may still need him.”
Wilson’s departure now appears imminent as he looks to join a club where he can feature regularly, while West Ham continues to strengthen their attacking options.
