Benue APC Chair Urges INEC e-Registration Ahead of 2027

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Benjamin Omale, has called on party members throughout the state to accord maximum importance to the ongoing electronic registration exercise and ensure active involvement.

He also appealed to the general populace to participate en masse in the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise being carried out by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), noting that wide participation is essential in preparation for forthcoming elections.

Omale made the appeal on Thursday, the 8th of January, 2026, while receiving a delegation of political leaders and stakeholders from the Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency, who paid him a courtesy visit.

Speaking during the engagement, the APC state chairman underscored the need for unity, loyalty, and collective responsibility as the party begins early preparations for the 2027 general elections.

In his remarks, he said, “Let me use this opportunity to encourage our party members to actively participate in the ongoing e-registration exercise and, at the same time, urge the people of the state to turn out massively to register in the Continuous INEC Voter Registration exercise.”

He reaffirmed that the APC remains guided by the ideals of equity, justice, and inclusiveness, assuring members and supporters that the party under his leadership would continue to place the welfare of the people first.

The leader of the visiting delegation, Musa Ujor, who is the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, praised the state APC leadership and expressed strong confidence in the party’s vision and leadership at both the state and national levels.

Other elders and stakeholders used the occasion to commend Governor Hyacinth Alia, describing his leadership style as open, generous, and inclusive toward their constituency. They also restated their support for President Bola Tinubu and Governor Alia.
