The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that more than 6.2 million Nigerians completed their online pre-registration for the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) during the sixth week of the exercise.
According to figures released on Monday, September 29, and published on INEC’s official X handle and website, a total of 6,232,673 pre-registrants were recorded between September 22 and 28, 2025.
The data showed that 3,250,338 of the registrants were female, representing 52.15 percent, while 2,982,335 were male, accounting for 47.85 percent.
Youths aged 18 to 34 continued to dominate the process, with 4,230,715 registering within the period.
Students made up a significant portion with 1,565,824 entries, while persons with disabilities (PWDs) accounted for 137,865.

INEC further disclosed that 1,004,132 Nigerians completed both online and physical registrations in week five of the exercise, which ran from September 22 to 26.
Out of this figure, 537,743 finalised their registration online, while 466,389 completed the process physically.
The breakdown of the week five completed registrations showed that 555,077 were female, representing 55.28 percent, and 449,055 were male, accounting for 44.72 percent.
Youths made up 742,379 of the total, while students recorded 354,406 entries. Registrations by PWDs during the week stood at 13,987.
