A 20-year-old student of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Okene, was found dead on Monday, February 2, 2026, in a bush in Eika-Adagu community along the Okene-Lokoja highway.
The victim, Suleiman Rahama Onono, had been reported missing on Saturday, January 24, 2026, after failing to return home.
Family, friends, and members of her college community had searched for her for days, raising alarm over her sudden disappearance.
Her lifeless body was discovered by relatives with assistance from local security personnel.
Authorities recovered the remains and took them to Okengwe General Hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation.
The incident has sparked fear among residents of Camp 2, where the body was found.

Locals called for stronger security measures, including streetlights, citing past violent incidents in the area.
