The mysterious disappearance of SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, a 39-year-old officer with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and her daughter, Sewa, has ended in tragedy.
Their bodies were reportedly recovered from the home of a suspected herbalist in Osun State.
Lasisi and her daughter went missing on Sunday, November 2, 2025, after leaving their home at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
Concerned family members reported them missing on Wednesday, November 5, at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters in Ogun State.
Police investigations led to the herbalist’s residence, where their remains were allegedly found.
The herbalist’s wife has been taken into custody, while the herbalist himself is reportedly evading arrest.

Authorities are appealing to the public to provide any information that could help trace the remaining suspects and clarify the circumstances of the deaths.
The FRSC expressed profound sorrow over the loss, describing it as a devastating blow to the service.
The remains have been sent to UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital for post-mortem examination and DNA testing to confirm identities.
Investigations into the cause of death and motive are ongoing.
