Ogun Police Nab Man With Four Human Heads

The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a man, Gafaru Rasaki, for allegedly exhuming human remains from a cemetery in Sagamu and being found in possession of four human heads.

The command’s spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, said in a statement on Thursday in Abeokuta that operatives of the Shakura Police Division arrested Rasaki on January 21, 2026.

Babaseyi said investigations revealed that the suspect unlawfully exhumed the remains from a cemetery, describing the act as a serious violation of the law and a disregard for human corpses.

The recovered human heads have been secured by the police, and Rasaki is expected to be charged to court upon the conclusion of investigations.

The police spokesperson reiterated the command’s commitment to protecting public safety and warned that anyone involved in the desecration of human remains would face the full weight of the law.
