The raid, carried out by NDLEA operatives at Ama Hausa, a well-known hub for drug trafficking and other criminal activities, led to the arrest of six suspects and the recovery of a large cache of illicit drugs, including cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, skunk, and tramadol.

This was contained in a statement by the Director, Media & Advocacy NDLEA HQrs, Femi Babafemi, on Tuesday.

Reacting to the tragic incident, Marwa commended the courage and professionalism of the officers involved in the operation, describing their resolve in the face of danger as exemplary.

“I salute the gallantry of our men who refused to be intimidated by these criminal elements.

“Even after the cowardly attack on Mujahid, our operatives ensured that the assailants were overpowered, arrested, and their illicit drugs confiscated. Their sacrifice will not be in vain,” the NDLEA boss said.
