PSC Sets March 9 for Police Constable Recruitment Screening

The Police Service Commission, PSC, says physical and credential screening for candidates applying to join the Nigeria Police Force as constables will kick off on March 9, 2026.

PSC spokesman Torty Kalu disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, February 24, saying the exercise will run until April 18, 2026, at centres in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Kalu instructed applicants who registered online to visit the recruitment portal to verify their status and download necessary documents ahead of the screening.

“These include the Guarantors Form, Application Submission Slip, Invitation Slip, Credential Screening Form, and Physical Screening Form,” the statement said.

“Applicants are expected to present their Invitation Slip bearing their assigned table number, completed Credential Screening Form, original National Identity Number printout or card issued by the National Identity Management Commission, O’Level certificate, birth certificate or declaration of age, and certificate of origin.”

Applicants seeking specialist roles must also present relevant trade test certificates, Kalu said.

In addition, all candidates must submit a properly filled and signed Guarantors Form along with photocopies and passport photographs of their referees.

He said candidates should arrange all original documents and their duplicates in two separate white flat files, with recent passport photographs attached.
