A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of media strategist Ifeanyi Izeze, extending his condolences to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Eze described the late Izeze as a pioneering member of Atiku’s media team and a trusted figure within his political circle, noting that his passing represents a significant loss not only to the former Vice President but also to Nigeria’s media and political landscape.
Eze portrayed Izeze as a visionary and fearless communicator whose voice, he said, was urgently needed at a time when the nation requires clarity and strong advocacy.
“The news of the death of my friend and brother, Pastor Ifeanyi Izeze, is both shocking and painful,” Eze said, adding that the late strategist was an “enigma” and a resourceful professional whose expertise in media management stood out.

He further noted that Atiku has lost a dependable ally and valuable asset, particularly in the realm of political communication, where Izeze had built a reputation for strategic insight and dedication.
Offering words of comfort, Eze prayed for the repose of the deceased and strength for his family and associates to bear the loss, acknowledging the inevitability of death while emphasising the enduring legacy of the late media figure.
The tribute highlights the deep personal and professional bonds within Nigeria’s political networks, as well as the lasting impact of individuals who shape public discourse behind the scenes.
