Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to Germany, Femi Fani-Kayode, has conveyed heartfelt Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims in Nigeria and across the diaspora, celebrating the end of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement issued on Friday, March 20, Fani-Kayode commended the Muslim faithful for their dedication, sacrifice, and spiritual commitment throughout the holy month.
He described Ramadan as “a time of deep reflection, self-restraint, and renewed commitment to the service of humanity.”
Encouraging adherence to the values nurtured during the period, he stressed the importance of sustaining them beyond Ramadan.

“It is essential that we sustain the virtues of patience, compassion, generosity, and unity cultivated during Ramadan.
“These values are critical for national cohesion and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, regardless of religious or ethnic differences,” he said.
The envoy also urged Nigerians to continue backing the administration of President Bola Tinubu, expressing optimism about the country’s future under his leadership.
“I am confident that under the leadership of President Tinubu, Nigeria will overcome its challenges and emerge stronger.
“I urge all Nigerians to remain steadfast, hopeful, and committed to the ideals of good governance and national development,” he said.
Fani-Kayode concluded his message with prayers for unity, peace, and national progress, wishing that “Almighty Allah blesses all Muslims with a joyous Eid celebration filled with happiness, renewed faith, and abundant blessings.”
