The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has revealed plans to arraign former Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, along with Joel Adoga, before the Federal High Court sitting in Kaduna on Tuesday, the 24th of March, 2026.
The announcement was contained in a notice issued on Monday, the 23rd of March, and signed by John Okor Odey, Head of Media and Public Communications.
According to the Commission, the case, marked FHC/KD/73/2026, involves allegations bordering on conversion and possession of public assets as well as money laundering.
The notice also disclosed a separate case involving El-Rufai and Amadu Sule (LEDA), which has been filed at the Kaduna State High Court under case number KDH/KAD/ICPC/01/26.
In that matter, the charges include abuse of office, fraud, intent to commit fraud, and conferring undue advantage, among others.

Both cases were instituted by the ICPC on the 18th of March, 2026.
While a date for the State High Court arraignment is yet to be fixed, the Commission confirmed that El-Rufai has already been served.
It added that it remains committed to following due process and upholding the rule of law in prosecuting the cases.
