The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has charged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) convention planning committee to prioritize unity, effective coordination, and clear communication as preparations intensify for the party’s forthcoming convention.
Speaking during a strategic meeting, Idris emphasized the importance of readiness and strong logistics in delivering a successful event that reflects the party’s democratic ideals and organizational strength.
He urged committee members to work collaboratively, stressing that teamwork would be critical in ensuring seamless communication and execution of responsibilities ahead of the convention.
Idris noted that sacrifices would be required from all stakeholders, aligning with the party’s broader vision of discipline and unity in engaging Nigerians.

“Members must be prepared to make necessary sacrifices in line with the party’s commitment to presenting a united front and communicating effectively with the public,” he said.
The minister also reminded party faithful of the need to uphold internal democratic principles, adding that members must embody values that reflect the leadership style and expectations set at the highest level.
“As party members, we must demonstrate key attributes that align with the example set by our president,” he added.
He further described the upcoming convention as a significant milestone for the APC, noting that it provides an opportunity to reinforce internal structures and deepen democratic practices within the party.
The convention is expected to bring together party leaders and stakeholders from across the country as the APC continues efforts to consolidate its position and strengthen its political framework.
