Customs Opens Portal For Final Recruitment Update, Sets Deadline

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has directed shortlisted candidates in its 2025 recruitment exercise to complete a mandatory profile update ahead of the final screening stage.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Service said only applicants who successfully passed earlier phases of the recruitment process are eligible to participate in the current exercise.

Candidates are required to access the official recruitment portal and fill out a designated form to update their personal information in preparation for the final interview and physical screening.

The NCS stressed that the update is compulsory and must be completed on or before Sunday, May 10, 2026, warning that failure to comply could lead to disqualification from the final selection stage.

“In continuation of the selection process leading to the final stage of the 2025 Recruitment Exercise, candidates who were successful in the previous phases are required to visit the NCS Recruitment Portal to complete a designated form,” the statement noted.

According to the agency, the portal will remain open until 11:00 p.m. on the deadline date.

The Service also reiterated that the recruitment process is entirely free, cautioning candidates against falling victim to fraudsters demanding payment in exchange for job offers.

“All official communication will only be conducted through verified channels,” the statement added.

To support applicants, the NCS said dedicated help desk contacts and official social media platforms have been made available for inquiries and verification.

The agency urged all shortlisted candidates to complete the process promptly to avoid jeopardising their chances of progressing to the final stage of the recruitment exercise.
