The Chief Judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, Justice John Tsoho, has approved a nationwide redeployment of judges following recent appointments and recommendations by the National Judicial Council (NJC).
Details of the exercise were contained in a statement released in Abuja on Friday, May 8, by the court’s Director of Information, Dr Catherine-Oby Christopher.
The statement directed all affected judicial officers to report to their new stations on May 13.
“Following the recent appointment of 14 new judges and the reposting of three existing judges of the Federal High Court, the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice John Tsoho, has approved and released a new posting schedule for judges of the Court to various judicial divisions across the country,” the statement said.
Under the new deployment, Justice Hassan Dikko has been assigned to Gusau in Zamfara State.
Justices Salim Olasupo Ibrahim and Onah Chigozie Sergius will take up roles in Abuja.
Justice Sulaiman Amida Hassan has been posted to Osogbo, Osun State, while Justice Muhammad Saidu will serve in Minna, Niger State.

Justice Igboko Conchita has been deployed to Akure in Ondo State, and Justice Onuegbu Angela will work from Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Justice Galumje Edingah is to sit in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.
Other postings include Justice Ibrahim Eneabo to Gombe, Justice Abubakar Usman to Ado-Ekiti in Ekiti State, Justice Salihu Yunusa to Damaturu in Yobe State, and Justice Ikpeme Bassey to Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Justice Shehu Adamu has been assigned to Maiduguri in Borno State, while Justice Mohammed Buba will operate from Dutse in Jigawa State.
Justice Binjin-Eigegbe Nendelmum Judith has been posted to Lokoja in Kogi State.
In addition, Justice Usoro Uduak and Justice Nwoye Osinachi Donatus have both been assigned to the Lagos Division.
The statement confirmed that the new postings take immediate effect.
