Italian manager Antonio Conte is set to leave Napoli this summer, with his departure now described as “100% confirmed,” according to reports.
Conte is said to have already informed club president Aurelio De Laurentiis about his decision approximately one month ago, with both parties now understood to have clarified the situation.
Reports indicate that there will be no exit compensation involved, as Conte will leave the club without severance pay and without any formal agreement in place with another team at this stage.
Despite the surprise exit, it is understood that Conte did not fall out with Napoli’s hierarchy, and maintains a strong professional relationship with De Laurentiis.
However, he is said to be ready for a new challenge after completing what has been a successful spell in Naples.
