The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna State has concluded its primary elections, selecting its senatorial candidates for the 2027 general elections after a series of internal party contests.
The exercise, which also included nominations for the House of Representatives and selected seats in the Kaduna State House of Assembly, was formally announced on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at a press briefing in Kaduna.
Chairman of the State Primary Elections Committee, Ladan Salihu, said the party had earlier completed its presidential and governorship primaries, noting that the latest exercise was part of efforts to finalize its full list of candidates through internal democratic procedures.
He said the conduct of the primaries reflected transparency and adherence to party rules, stressing that all winners emerged in line with the ADC’s guidelines and would represent the party in the 2027 elections.
