A yet-to-be-identified woman has died shortly after purchasing food items at the popular Mile 12 Market in Lagos State.
The incident occurred on Sunday when the woman, after completing her shopping, reportedly sat down at a bus stop area to wait for transportation before she suddenly passed away.
An eyewitness who spoke with First Daily on condition of anonymity on Monday said the deceased showed no visible sign of illness before the incident.
“She bought two tubers of yam from me. The woman didn’t look sick,” the eyewitness said.
