JAMB, Rite Foods To Reward Seven Undergraduates With ₦5m Each

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced plans to recognise seven exceptional Nigerian undergraduates with cash awards of ₦5 million each during its inaugural Academic Excellence Recognition Award Ceremony, scheduled to hold in Lagos on Tuesday.

The awards, organised in collaboration with Rite Foods Limited, are designed to celebrate outstanding academic achievement among candidates admitted during the 2025 admission exercise.

In a statement released on Sunday by JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, the board stated, “each of the seven award recipients will receive ₦5 million in recognition of their exceptional performance in both the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and the respective Post-UTME or institutional screening exercises conducted by their admitting Universities.”

JAMB explained that the beneficiaries were selected through a transparent, rigorous and merit-based process overseen by the board.
