Ayra Starr Meets Seychelles President Ahead Of Golden Jubilee Headline Concert

Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has been received by the President of Seychelles, Patrick Herminie, ahead of her headline performance at the country’s 50th Independence Day (Golden Jubilee) celebrations.

The Grammy-nominated singer paid a courtesy visit to the State House in Victoria during the weekend, where she was officially welcomed by President Herminie before taking centre stage at one of the country’s biggest national celebrations.

The visit forms part of the cultural activities marking Seychelles’ Golden Jubilee, celebrating 50 years of independence.

Ayra Starr is among the international artistes invited to perform at the historic event, underscoring the country’s commitment to promoting African music and cultural exchange.

Ayra Starr has continued to establish herself as one of Africa’s leading music exports since breaking into the global spotlight with hit songs such as Rush, Sability, Commas and tracks from her critically acclaimed sophomore album, The Year I Turned 21.
