A fire outbreak has occurred at the Bono Energy Terminal in Coconut, Apapa area of the state.
An eyewitness identified as Cynthia Edeth told First Daily correspondent that the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently battling the fire.
The spokesperson for the LSFRS, Shakiru Amodu, confirmed this to journalists on Friday.

He said, “The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently curbing a Fire explosion at Bono Energy Terminal on Apapa-Oworonshoki Expressway, by Coconut, Olodi Apapa, Lagos. Update to follow.”
At the time of filing this report First Daily correspondent could not ascertained the cause of the fire.
