Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Greek international Christos Tzolis from Belgian champions Club Brugge on a long-term contract.
The 24-year-old forward joins the Gunners after an impressive spell in Belgium, where he made 108 appearances in all competitions, scoring 43 goals and providing 45 assists over two seasons.
Tzolis arrives in north London following a successful campaign with Club Brugge, helping the club win the 2025/26 Belgian Pro League title after lifting the Belgian Cup the previous year. He was also named the Belgian Pro League Player of the Season in consecutive seasons.
The winger began his professional career with Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki, progressing through the club’s academy before making his senior debut in 2020.
He played a key role in PAOK’s Greek Cup triumph in 2021, scoring five goals in four matches during the competition.
His performances earned him a move to Premier League side Norwich City in 2021, where he announced himself by scoring twice and providing two assists on his debut in a 6-0 Carabao Cup victory over Bournemouth.
Loan spells with FC Twente in the Netherlands and Germany’s Fortuna Düsseldorf followed before he secured a permanent move to Club Brugge in 2024, where he developed into one of Belgium’s standout attacking players.

On the international stage, Tzolis has represented Greece across various youth levels and has earned 34 senior caps since making his debut in October 2020.
Speaking after the transfer was confirmed, Arsenal Sporting Director Andrea Berta described the forward as a versatile and technically gifted player capable of strengthening the club’s attacking options.
According to Berta, Tzolis is comfortable playing across the front line, possesses outstanding finishing ability with both feet and has consistently delivered impressive goal and assist numbers in recent seasons.
He expressed confidence that the Greek international would make a significant impact at the Emirates Stadium while bringing quality, energy and a strong mentality to Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Tzolis also expressed his excitement about joining the North London club, saying he is eager to contribute and remains “always hungry to score.”
The forward will wear the No. 17 shirt and has already linked up with his new teammates at Arsenal’s Sobha Realty Training Centre for pre-season preparations.
The transfer remains subject to the completion of the required regulatory processes.
