Abuja’s Shehu Yar’Adua Conference Centre is already buzzing with activity this Tuesday morning as the nation’s security conversation takes centre stage at First Daily Media Network’s sixth anniversary national dialogue, with dignitaries, security experts, policymakers, media professionals and other invited guests arriving for the landmark event.
The atmosphere at the venue reflects both celebration and purpose as guests continue to file into the conference hall ahead of the opening session. Production crews have concluded technical checks, cameras are in position for live coverage, while ushers receive participants and direct them to their seats as organisers put finishing touches to the event.
Hosted by Dr Daniel Iworiso-Markson, the national dialogue is themed “Declaration of State of Emergency on Security: Matching Words with Action.” The forum is expected to bring together key stakeholders from across the country to examine Nigeria’s security challenges and explore practical strategies for translating commitments into concrete action.
Excitement continues to build as more invited guests arrive at the venue, exchanging greetings and networking ahead of the commencement of proceedings. The conference is expected to feature robust discussions, expert insights and policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the country’s security architecture.
