Peter Obi and former Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson have celebrated former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso on his 70th birthday, praising his public service and expressing optimism about Nigeria’s future.
The two leaders shared separate messages on their official X accounts on Wednesday, October 21, highlighting Kwankwaso’s political career and commitment to national development.
Obi described Kwankwaso as “a very dear elder brother and partner,” noting that their relationship was strengthened by shared conversations and a common commitment to Nigeria.
He said Kwankwaso’s experience in the legislature, the Federal Executive Council, the Kano governorship and other public offices reflected decades of service to Nigerians.
Obi also expressed hope for a country where no child is denied opportunity, no family is trapped in poverty and every citizen can live with “dignity, security, and hope.”
