Popular comedian and activist, Debo Adebayo, aka Mr Macaroni joined protesters at Gani Fawehinmi park at Ojota, Lagos State.
The comedian was arrested in February 2021 by police during the second wave of #Endsars protest tag #OccupyLekkiTollGate along other protesters.
Amid that experience, Macaroni on Saturday joined other Nigerians protesting against bad governance of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
Activist Deji Adeyanju, the convener of Concerned Nigerians and other youths were part of the protesters.
At Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojota, Lagos, a detachment of policemen dispersed the protesters. Police had stationed their patrol vehicles on the Ikorodu/Maryland Expressway, near the park, preventing people from entering the park.
However, the protesters, some of whom wearing red berets, gathered on the expressway, chanting solidarity songs but were all dispersed.
