A former lawmaker from Kaduna State, Shehu Sani has taken a swipe at the Federal Government for its failure to declare bandits terrorising the country as terrorists.
He said the Federal Government should declare the bandits as civil servants if it cannot declare them as terrorists.
Recall that several Nigerians have called on the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to pronounce the bandits as terrorists but the government has kept mum over the matter.
Registering his perception on the matter on Monday morning, the former lawmaker said, “They (bandits) killed Muslim worshipers in their mosques in Niger and Katsina states; they killed Christians in their Churches in Kaduna State; if the Government doesn’t want to declare them terrorists, it should declare them federal civil servants.”
Several Nigerians have lost their lives to various activities perpetrated by the bandits in various parts of the country.
