…wins 10 LGAs
Flagbearear of the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s governorship election in Ekiti State, Abiodun Oyebanji, is leading his opponents by a margin of 65,791 votes.
From the results announced at collation centres of 10 Local Government Areas, Oyebanji polled a total of 107,913 votes, while Social Democratic Party’s Segun Oni is trailing him with 42,122 votes. Peoples Democratic Party’s Bisi Kolawole has also polled 40,838 votes to come third.
While Oyebanji has won in nine LGAs, to Kolawole snatched victory in just one yet.
The APC candidate has won in Ikere, Emure, Ekiti South West, Ekiti West, Oye, Irepodun/Ifelodun, Ikole, Ido-Osi and Ise/Orun LGAs.
Kolawole won in Efon LGA only.
