Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips may be on his way to Manchester City as both parties have reached a deal worth £45m.
Philips, who came through Leeds youth academy, is understood to have turned down approaches from other clubs especially Manchester United.
Considering United’s bitter rivalry with Leeds, Philips considered only Manchester City out of loyalty for his club.
The deal is set to be completed by Monday with City paying £45m which includes bonuses.
