Head coach of the Super Falcons, Randy Waldrum has named his 25-woman squad for the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco.
The list which was released on Friday, June 25, include a number of experienced legs such as Captain Onome Ebi, Striker Asisat Oshoala, Francesca Ordega, Tochukwu Oluehi and Goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie.
The Super Falcons, who are hoping to make a record 10th WAFCON title, are scheduled to depart Nigeria for Morocco on Monday, June 24.
There, they will face South Africa on July 4, Botswana on July 7 and Burundi on July 10 at the group stage, at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat.
The four semifinalists of the competition will represent Africa at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
