AAC leadership crisis: Sowore, Ezenwa factions clash in INEC headquarters

Two factions of the African Alliance Congress headed by Omoyele Sowore and Chief Leonard Ezenwa, on Monday, clashed at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission over the authentic leader of the party.

INEC, according to sources has already recognised the Ezenwa led group.

FirstNews had reported that AAC expelled Omoyele Sowore, saying his character in recent time had been questionable, especially in the area of security. It then called on the security agencies in the country to investigate him.

Dr Leonard Nzenwa, while announcing the development, accused Sowore of impersonation for allegedly claiming to be the chairman of the party in a letter written to the INEC.
