Abia State Governor Alex Otti is set to unveil the Abia 25‑Year Development Plan today, Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
Described by government officials as a long-term roadmap, the plan aims to guide the state’s economic, social, and infrastructural growth over the next quarter-century.
The unveiling will take place at the International Conference Centre, Umuahia, and is expected to draw development partners, advisory council members, local government chairmen, traditional rulers, and other key stakeholders.
Officials say the plan is designed to ensure continuity across future administrations while unlocking local potential and attracting investment in sectors critical to Abia’s growth.
