ADC Launches Door-to-Door Campaign Strategy Ahead Of Ekiti Poll

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has intensified mobilisation efforts ahead of the Ekiti State governorship election scheduled for June 20, 2026, unveiling a door-to-door campaign in support of its candidate, Dare Bejide.

The party said the initiative is designed to deepen grassroots engagement as political activities gather pace across the state.

In a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti on Sunday, June 7, 2026, by the Director of Media and Publicity of the Dare Bejide Campaign Council, Chief Gboyega Aribisogan, the ADC confirmed the establishment of a National Campaign Council and several committees comprising more than 100 members.

At the centre of the structure is the Contact and Mobilisation Committee, which has been tasked with voter sensitisation and direct community outreach, with emphasis on explaining the party’s manifesto and policy priorities.

“The Contact and Mobilization Committee has been tasked with voter sensitization and door-to-door engagement as focus will be on explaining the ADC’s manifesto and addressing concerns around education, healthcare, agriculture and youth employment,” the statement said.

The party said the committee structure was created to strengthen coordination, expand outreach, and improve communication of its campaign agenda ahead of the poll.

Other committees include media and publicity, policy and manifesto development, youth and women engagement, logistics, protocol, and security.

According to the ADC, the campaign is decentralised, allowing local coordinators to tailor strategies to community-specific realities across the state.

The Media and Publicity Committee will manage press relations and digital outreach, while the Policy and Manifesto Committee will translate campaign promises into sector-based proposals, supported by professionals from education, health, and engineering fields.

The party also said youth and women structures will play key roles in voter education and mobilization, while logistics and security teams will coordinate campaign materials and ensure compliance with electoral guidelines.

The ADC reaffirmed its commitment to a peaceful electoral process and said it is engaging relevant stakeholders ahead of the June 20, 2026 governorship poll.
