Redeemed Christian Church of God says the sudden death of Pastor Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye, the third child of its General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has shaken the church.
RCCG expressed this grief this while officially announcing the death of Pastor Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye in a statement on Thursday.
Pastor Damilare was born on June 9, 1978, and died in his sleep on Wednesday, May 4, 2021, in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was leading a branch of the church and lived with his wife and children.
RCCG Public Relations Officer, Pastor Segun Adebiyi, said in the statement, “It is with a deep and heartfelt sense of loss, we announce the departure of our beloved son, brother, husband and father, Oluwadamilare Temitayo Adeboye, who went to be with the Lord on the 4th of May, 2021.”
The RCCG spokesman said the younger Adeboye lived his life well as he served the Lord without reserve, gave effortlessly and led fearlessly.
“He was crowned by the Lord with blessings of three seeds and a beautiful wife.
“Though shaken, our anchor remains Jesus Christ in whom we have the assurance that we will one day meet in a place where there is no pain.
“It is the wish of the family to be granted privacy at this moment and that prayers be offered on their behalf.”
