Ekaette Akpabio, wife of Senate President Godswill Akpabio, has rejected Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s allegations of sexual harassment against her husband, calling them false and unfounded.
Speaking to journalists on Friday, February 28, she defended Akpabio’s character, describing him as a disciplined and respectful man who values women.
“These allegations are nothing but a figment of Natasha’s wild imagination,” she said.
Akpoti-Uduaghan had earlier claimed that her troubles in the Senate began after rejecting Akpabio’s alleged advances.

However, Mrs Akpabio dismissed this, citing the longstanding relationship between both families, which she said existed even before Natasha’s marriage.
She also stated that she was at their family residence on December 8, 2023—the date of the alleged incident—further discrediting the claim.
Highlighting her husband’s record of supporting women in government, she urged women to refrain from making false accusations and vowed to seek legal redress over the matter.
