Western Security Network code-named Amotekun have reportedly arrested two suspected armed bandits in Lanlate, Ibarapa East Local Government Area, Oyo State.
The suspected bandits, who were identified as Mumini Saliu (45yrs), and Ibrahim Suleiman (25yrs), were caught with AK47 rifles, pump-action and a dane-gun.
Their arrest was disclosed in a statement by the Media unit of Operation Amotekun which was made available to the newsmen in Ibadan.
The statement added that the suspects were apprehended by the operatives around Ibarapa East Local Government command at Alapa Village, Lanlate.
Other items recovered include; 82 rounds of 7.62 ammunition and 7 cartridges amongst other harmful weapons.
The suspected bandits have been handed over to the Director of State Security Services, Oyo State Command for further investigation.
