New Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Soludo, on Thursday asked all those making noise at his swearing-in event to immediately leave the venue.
The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, said that Anambra State would be a state of law and order during his era of rulership.
According to Soludo: “Can we tell those who are making noise at the rear that if they are not for the event they can as well leave because the Anambra we are talking about is a place of law and order.”
Soludo was sworn in by Chief Judge, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu, at the Anambra State Government House.
The event was attended by several top officials, including the immediate past Governor, Chief Willie Obiano and his wife, Mrs Ebelechukwu, and all the 30 members of the Anambra State House of Assembly.
