Senator Samuel Anyanwu has resumed his duties as the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He arrived at the party secretariat at 10:56 a.m. on Monday and proceeded to his office, where he was welcomed by his personal staff.
While seated at his desk, Anyanwu addressed reporters, dismissing a statement from the PDP National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba.
Ologunagba had earlier confirmed to journalists that the party had received an Appeal Court ruling which recognized Sunday Okoye as National Secretary.
In response, Anyanwu remarked, “That is his opinion. It’s not the opinion of the party. As National Publicity Secretary of the party, I wouldn’t want to disparage him. Maybe he didn’t get the facts correctly. I have appealed.”
