The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on Sunday projected a decisive victory for the ruling party in the 2027 general elections, attributing the outlook to growing national acceptance of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Yilwatda made the declaration in Abuja while receiving the leadership of Women Leaders Support Advancement, a political advocacy group promoting greater inclusion of women in governance.
“Our party is fully prepared for the future, and by the grace of God, the APC will win convincingly in 2027,” he said, highlighting the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda as a framework that expands political participation for women and youths.
“The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deliberately structured to address the concerns of women, youths, and all Nigerians who desire good governance and inclusive leadership,” Yilwatda added.
He also urged Nigerian women to remain committed to supporting the President, describing them as essential to the APC’s grassroots machinery. “Women remain the backbone of political mobilisation, and your role is critical to our success,” he said.
The visit provided the women’s group an opportunity to pledge deeper engagement at the grassroots level. Dr. Martina Yilwatda, Matron and Co-founder of the organisation, stressed the need to strengthen mobilisation among women and youths across communities.

Founder Deborah Hornecker, accompanied by Secretary Zainab Musa, thanked the APC chairman and his wife for their support, promising to mobilise women across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory to support the APC in 2027.
The delegation also pledged to promote the achievements of the Tinubu administration and enhance women’s participation in national politics.
The meeting comes as the APC continues internal consultations ahead of its National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings, scheduled for December 18 and 19 at the Presidential Villa.
