The All Progressives Congress (APC) has welcomed Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah to its fold, a move the ruling party described as both courageous and visionary, capable of reshaping the state’s development path.
The APC, through its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement on Tuesday, October 13, said Mbah’s decision to cross over marked a defining moment for Enugu’s political and economic future.
The party expressed confidence that his entry would speed up reforms and tie the state more closely to President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Governor Mbah said his defection was guided by a commitment to building stronger alliances that would bring about meaningful change for the people of Enugu and contribute to national progress.
He noted that the APC platform provides wider space for collaboration and innovation, which aligns with his vision for a more prosperous Enugu.
Welcoming him, the APC assured Mbah and his team of complete support and inclusion, describing his move as one that will further unite stakeholders working for national development.
