The All Progressives Congress, APC, has named Abdulrahman Bashir Haske as Chairman of its Youth Advisory Committee for the 16th of August, 2025, Ganye, Adamawa State Assembly Constituency by-election.
The announcement came through a statement signed by the APC National Vice Chairman, North-East, Comrade Mustapha Salihu.
Haske will collaborate with members of the National Campaign Council Sub-Committee, which includes Hon. Nuruddeen Hamanyero, Barr. Dedan Pwadi Hoki, Dr. Tahir Abubakar Girei, Musa Terrang (PhD), Lamido Hamza Abdullah, and Salihu Mohammed Harbingiwa.
Other members of the team are Huzaifa Sanusi, Idris Zubairu Numan, Sa’adu Adamu Namtari, Hon. Khalil Sajo, Dauda Kushu, Isah Garba Mayo, Lukman D. Wise, Shehu Baba-Jacob, and Hon. Yakubu Bello Bashir.
Shortly after his appointment, Haske visited the National Security Adviser, NSA, Nuhu Ribadu, who also serves as APC leader in Adamawa State.

Their discussions covered the by-election, party affairs, and approaches to deepen political unity and backing. Haske praised the NSA’s leadership, inclusiveness, and record of accomplishments.
The APC restated its pledge to ensure the by-election is peaceful, credible, and successful.
It also called on members, supporters, and the public to give full backing to Haske and the Youth Advisory Committee in fulfilling their national duty.
