Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Soba Local Government Area of Kaduna State have publicly declared their unwavering support for Governor Uba Sani and President Bola Tinubu, endorsing their continuation in office beyond the 2027 general elections.
The endorsement was made during a meeting convened on Tuesday, where stakeholders cited the substantial developmental strides witnessed in the region since the inception of the current administration.
Leading the endorsement, the Commissioner for Public Works and Infrastructure, Ibrahim Hamza, expressed profound satisfaction with the governor’s performance.
“We are very proud of what the Governor is doing. We have been included in his administration, and we are glad that all the support we gave to the APC in Soba to ensure his victory has paid off,” Hamza stated.
Hamza conveyed gratitude to Governor Sani for appointing individuals from Soba Local Government into key positions and for the administration’s multifaceted support to the area. He highlighted significant achievements in Soba, including extensive road construction projects, the establishment of skill acquisition centers, the implementation of vital water schemes, and notable improvements in the security landscape.
“In the last 23 months, Soba has been one of the most benefited local governments in the state, especially in terms of rural infrastructural development,” Hamza emphasized.
Among the key projects cited was the construction of the Dingya to Turawa road, a significant infrastructural development. Hamza also pointed to the establishment of a skill acquisition center aimed at empowering youths, women, and men in the region.
Additionally, he referenced the Soba water scheme, which is projected to serve approximately 1,500 households.
“In the next three months, by the end of the second quarter, about 1,500 households in Soba will benefit from pipe-borne water,” he stated.
The stakeholders also lauded the governor’s efforts in enhancing security in the area. “Just recently, the Chairman of Soba was in Zaria Command to thank them for their intervention. Security is one area that has seen significant improvements in Soba Council, and we thank the Governor for that,” Hamza added.

He further highlighted the ongoing construction of a general hospital in Maigana, which is expected to be completed soon.
The stakeholders called for unity among all APC members in Soba to ensure the continuity of Governor Sani’s administration beyond 2027, emphasizing the need to build on the progress already made.
“We want all of us to come together to endorse the continuity of Senator Uba Sani and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as stakeholders of the APC in Soba Local Government for 2027 and beyond,” Hamza concluded, stressing the importance of sustained progress for Soba.
The Executive Chairman of Soba Local Government Area, Mohammad Shehu, echoed these sentiments, expressing deep appreciation to Governor Sani for the infrastructural projects undertaken in Soba.
“The Commissioner of Public Works has already mentioned almost all the good things that have come to Soba. On behalf of the Soba Council, we wish to express our profound gratitude to Governor Uba Sani for the developmental infrastructure brought to Soba,” Shehu stated.
Shehu highlighted various initiatives, including the establishment of a skill acquisition center, the upgrade of Maigana Hospital to a general hospital, and numerous road construction projects. “We have a skill acquisition centre in Soba, we have Maigana Hospital, which has been upgraded to a general hospital, and many road projects,” he noted.
