All Progressives Congress in Abia State says it is still studying the results of last Saturday’s by-election in Aba North/Aba South Federal Constituency.
APC Chairman in Abia State, Donatus Nwankpa, who acknowledged INEC’s credibility during the election, stated this in his reaction to the by-election.
He alleged that the ruling PDP in the state manipulated the election in some areas.
Nwankpa said although the election went on well “but there were some places where there were manipulations and they included Sports Club, Abia Poly, Asannetu, Ohabiam, Iheorji and some other areas”.
He said the party would issue a statement after studying the situation.
