The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the Saturday Anambra State governorship election, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, won the election in Aguata Local Government Area where he hails from alongside the candidates of APC, Senator Andy Uba, and PDP, Mr Val Ozigbo.
The battleground in the November 6 election was Aguata as the three major candidates of the three major political parties in the exercise all hailed from the area.
Meanwhile, INEC has announced results of 11 local government areas and while Soludo won 10, Uba and Ozigbo failed to win any, even as the candidate of YPP, Ifeanyi Ubah, won one of the 11 LGAs already declared.
