Some armed thugs, on Wednesday, attacked Nigerians protesting against police brutality in Abuja, injuring a number of the protesters.
The thugs, who were armed with various dangerous weapons, including machetes, stormed the protest venue at Berger junction, Abuja, an hour after the #EndSARS protesters had convened.
The armed hoodlums harassed the protesters, including passers-by and also destroyed vehicles parked in the area.
No fewer than five cars were destroyed and an unconfirmed number of the protesters injured during the melee.
