Arsenal have officially completed the signing of Danish midfielder Christian Nørgaard from Brentford in a deal worth an initial £10 million, making him the third addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad this summer.
All documents between the two clubs were exchanged last week, and the second part of Nørgaard’s medical has now been successfully completed.
The contract is signed and sealed — 10 days after Fabrizio Romano’s signature “here we go” announcement.
Nørgaard, 30, brings proven Premier League experience and midfield stability, attributes Arteta has been keen to reinforce ahead of a demanding season that includes a return to the Champions League.

Known for his defensive discipline and leadership, he’s expected to add depth and composure in the heart of Arsenal’s midfield.
The former Brentford captain joins a growing list of Arsenal summer signings, following goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga and midfielder Martín Zubimendi.
The club is also in advanced talks with Sporting CP over striker Viktor Gyökeres, with terms still being negotiated.
