Arsenal Suffer Blow as Saka Sidelined for a Month

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has been ruled out for a month after sustaining a hamstring injury during the Gunners’ emphatic 5-0 victory over Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

The 23-year-old was on the scoresheet in the rout that kept Mikel Arteta’s side top of the Premier League table with six points and six goals from their opening two matches.

However, the joy was tempered by news that Saka will miss up to four weeks of action.

His absence means he will play no part in Arsenal’s highly anticipated clash with Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

The injury setback will also force him out of England’s World Cup qualifying matches against Andorra and Serbia next month.

Saka’s setback is a major concern for Arsenal, given his importance to Arteta’s attacking setup.

The Gunners will now need other key players to step up as they aim to maintain their strong start to the season.
