Arsenal to Host Manchester United in FA Cup Third-Round Blockbuster

Arsenal will welcome Manchester United to the Emirates Stadium in the FA Cup third round, setting up a thrilling clash between the competition’s two most successful clubs.

The tie, scheduled for the weekend of January 11-12, 2025, promises to be one of the highlights of the round.

United, the defending champions, secured their 13th FA Cup title last season, while Arsenal, who hold the record with 14 trophies, last won the competition in 2020.

Elsewhere, Manchester City, 2023 champions and last season’s runners-up, will face fourth-tier Salford City, owned by Manchester United legends from the “Class of ’92.” Liverpool will host League Two side Accrington Stanley, while Chelsea take on Morecambe, the bottom side in the fourth division.

Tottenham Hotspur are set for a trip to non-league Tamworth, one of only two non-league teams remaining in the competition.
