Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced an extension of its ongoing warning strike for another two months.
The decision was taken at ASUU’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held in Abuja Sunday night.
The academic union is yet to make the decision public, but a source revealed the ASUU NEC resolved during the meeting held in an undisclosed location last night that the industrial action would continue for two more months.
According to the source, the outcome of the meeting is currently being drafted, and would soon be released to the media.
